How does it work?
The WRingle WReader uses Intuitive Book Discovery tools to learn about what you like to read and what you don’t. Based on your reading activity and your genre preferences, we will give books you like a higher priority in search results and on main bookstore pages.
The more you read and rate books, the smarter the WReader gets with understanding which books you like based on the content of those books.
What do I need to do?
At a bare minimum, we recommend you tell us at least three genres and/or sub-genres you enjoy reading. This will get us in the ballpark of the books that appeal to you.
Once you start reading books in WRingle, be sure you RATE the books you’ve read. Even if you didn’t like a book, the WReader needs to know, so give it a star rating. Don’t worry, you don’t have to leave a review. In fact, if you rate a book 1 or 2 stars and you’d rather not make that public, you can mark your rating “private”. This still lets the WReader know you didn’t enjoy the book so it will be sure to avoid putting similar books in your path.
Is there anything else I can do?
Absolutely! If there are particular characteristics of a book you really enjoyed (or didn’t), you can dive deeper by trying out our detailed rating system. Giving ratings for characters types, world building details or storylines will make your WReader even smarter. You should definitely rate some of those details in a book you didn’t like.
And if your tastes change, you can always go into your preferences and change the ratings of story details.
